I Have Dreams might be one of the most lyrically depressing bands I've ever heard. The band formed from the ashes of their old band New Ethic, when guitarist and best friend of the band Daniel died in a car accident. They formed I have dreams to, and I quote "an attempt to cope with the pain everyone was feeling after Daniel’s death." I'm pretty sure this is the only record they made. Listen to it and cry.

I totally grew up listening to this band. It was one of those bands I heard through a friend of a friend of a friend. As tragic as it is to deal with the death of a friend at a young age, I think their story made their lyrics/music all the better. Glad to see that their appeal still lives on all these years later!
